That just leads to more people quitting and less raiding as a whole, population dips more, servers die, etc etc. 25 saronite cost about 2k when the quests were even released, much less when Sindri was released. Raiders rolling on gear thats not for them or their spec, being rewarded for being uneducated about their class with often terrible dps or healing. 4 people going afk on trash cuz they think they are better than the rest. There are 2 ways to obtain Primordial Saronite: it is dropped by bosses in the Icecrown Citadel, and sold by your faction’s Emblem of Frost vendor in Dalaran & the newly added Goodman the 'Closer' vendor in Icecrown Citadel, for 23 Emblem of Frost. With only 4 bosses open from the first week assuming each boss drops 2 emblems you'll be able to get 40 emblems of frost (including dailies.) so thats 2 saronites a week per person (given the price of primordial saronite is 15 - 20) IF the whole guild chipped in yeah wont take long at all. But many dont like alt guild raids as they are pressured into passing on any and all gear for mains. Guild runs will continue for mains, maybe even get stronger. A vast majority of gdkp players are good if not great players with higher skill than the average raider. What happens? We lose a good 50-70% of good *edit: alt raiders (if not more) as this is how they have fun in the game. You can't use flying mount when the battle for Wintergasp is in progress. If it's not on, you should farm at Wintergrasp for 1 hour. You can just try to check if the battle for Wintergasp is on or not because these two zones are really close to each other. Sholazar Basin is also an excellent zone.
